Temple Wedding of Vidhya & Parvin
We had the privilege of documenting the wedding of Vidhya and Pravin, thanks to the referral from one of our past couples.
Like what we always hope for at weddings, we were treated with lots of laughter, colors and with lots of very nice guests. The temple wedding was also quite a blast with so much things happening all around the hall. Also on the side note, the ceremony is held in an air conditioned hall (thank goodness especially during this hot period). We really couldn’t ask for more except for having royal elephants during the march-in. =p

WPJA Q4 2013 Award
We are pleased to announce that we’ve bagged 2 awards in the latest WPJA Q4 2013 (www.wpja.com) contest! There are about 23,000 entries in this contest and 2 of our journalistic images of real moments caught the eye of the judges.
This brings us to a total of 6 awards from WPJA in 2013.
Judge’s comment: I must admit, it’s more fun to make a toast when there’s wine in the glass. But this hapless young man, surrounded by festivity, seems to be making a toast to a different idea – to be anywhere but here. Nonetheless, he provides the anchor to this lovely image.
Judge’s comment: If only I could see what created this surge, this torrent of emotion. It’s a mystery. I love a good mystery but I like a good photo even more. This image satisfies both of my desires.

WPJA Q3 2013 Award
Xmas present came a day early! We are pleased to announce that we’ve bagged 3 awards in the latest WPJA (www.wpja.com) contest!
We are glad that our recent submissions are of mainly journalistic images of real moments and 3 of them caught the eye of the judges.
Though we do not create images for the sake of winning awards, we are glad that there are still couples (not just the judges) who appreciate our art of capturing the real unscripted moments at weddings. We do not stop at awards, neither do we shoot for awards. We would like to create images that relive the memories of your wedding day and that is the purpose of our job and passion.

Actual Day Wedding of Mike & Winnie
Mike and Winnie’s wedding is another one where we felt really at ease shooting with. We knew Mike and Winnie from their cousin’s wedding, following by us shooting their solemnisation then engagement shoot and finally their actual wedding day. It is definitely an honour to be entrusted in the photography for the most important days of their lives together.

Actual Day Wedding of Jian Hong & Jennifer
We always love couples who are not afraid of being in their real selfs in front of the camera. Here, Jian Hong and Jennifer are one couple who truly does that. We were warned of the cramped and less tidy house which might affect our shooting. However, despite the challenges with limited space and lighting, we managed to capture one of the happiest wedding we had in the recent months.
We also appreciate Jennifer for her good thoughts to prepare ginseng tea for us when we first see her in the morning as she knew that it was a very early start for us.

Actual Day Wedding of Disheng & Kumiko Video Highlight
We love inter-national weddings as it is always a delight to work with people of different cultures. Therefore, we were extremely delighted when Disheng (who is a local) and Kumiko (who is a Japanese) decided to engage us as their wedding photographers.
We actually found them to be very reserved on our first meeting but well, I guess we can never judge on first impression. They are actually very fun and creative people.
We were also rather blessed with having a nice start for their wedding day shoot in Swissotel Hotel. There wasn’t a huge fanfare at first but as their friends and relatives arrived, we began to feel the great sense of joy and blessings from them to the wedding couple.
The challenge for us came when they conducted their preparations and gatecrashing games in 2 different levels in the hotel. That is when having 2 photographers comes in really really handy. Else we would have missed out lots of great moments.
The day went on lightheartedly from start to end and it’s almost impossible for us not to soak into the happy atmosphere with them.
So here is a bumper version of a slideshow made specially for them. We hope you can also feel the mood of their wedding day with these images that we are proud of photographing.
We wish them all the very best for their 2nd leg of their wedding celebration in Japan in the next few weeks.

Dance, Dance with Ping Pong Balls
Once in a while, we chanced upon creative gatecrashing games at weddings that we think are interesting.
The guys are instructed to wear boxes with a hole and some ping pong balls in there. The have to ‘dance’ real hard to funky music to shake the balls out of the boxes. These guys really shook real hard.
It sure brought lots of laughter to all the guests at the wedding and we as their photographers held back our laughter too.
