A new lunar year passed in a blink. We have managed to finish all the editings and delivering all the wedding images before Chinese New Year after months of hard work. With the sense of relief and satisfaction on jobs well done for yet another year, it’s heartwarming to reflect the great moments and weddings which many of you have entrusted us to document. Many interesting moments amid the rush and hustle of the weddings flashed back. It is also by going through the wedding journeys that friendships blossomed between us with many of you, who we once considered clients, now friends. We thank everyone who made these wonderful journeys possible.

Another fruitful year. 2014 has been pretty awesome for us. Our exposure at an international photography seminar paid off, resulting in upgraded technical skills and richer images being captured. Tying in with our philosophy, this enabled us to deliver not just event images, but precious meaningful moments that tells a unique story for each client. Through these interactions, pre-wedding led to weddings, then maternity and newborn shoots, we have grown along with our clients and many turned into great friends who remember us during their anniversary celebrations. We are thankful for all these that keep our passion burning in this competitive photography industry.

How’s it to use a can drink tab to do a marriage proposal to your loved one? This is one little element from their love story that we had decided to incorporate into the pre-wedding shoot.
Apart from these little elements, we also try to add in some classic images into the set to offer some balance to the whole album and also to show the quieter side of them.

We had the privilege of documenting the wedding of Vidhya and Pravin, thanks to the referral from one of our past couples.
Like what we always hope for at weddings, we were treated with lots of laughter, colors and with lots of very nice guests. The temple wedding was also quite a blast with so much things happening all around the hall. Also on the side note, the ceremony is held in an air conditioned hall (thank goodness especially during this hot period). We really couldn’t ask for more except for having royal elephants during the march-in. =p

We are pleased to announce that we’ve bagged 2 awards in the latest WPJA Q4 2013 (www.wpja.com) contest! There are about 23,000 entries in this contest and 2 of our journalistic images of real moments caught the eye of the judges.
This brings us to a total of 6 awards from WPJA in 2013.
Judge’s comment: I must admit, it’s more fun to make a toast when there’s wine in the glass. But this hapless young man, surrounded by festivity, seems to be making a toast to a different idea – to be anywhere but here. Nonetheless, he provides the anchor to this lovely image.
Judge’s comment: If only I could see what created this surge, this torrent of emotion. It’s a mystery. I love a good mystery but I like a good photo even more. This image satisfies both of my desires.

Haw Par Villa is in the news recently with the introduction of guided tours of this nostalgic place. That reminded us that of a pre-wedding casual shoot that we have done there over a year ago. Now who would have remembered this place, let alone doing a photography session there at that time…
